The Service Above Self 5K & Fun Run is hosted by the Mesquite Police Association Charities to strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the community while supporting programs that benefit Mesquite officers and their families. Participants of all ages are invited to enjoy a fun, family-friendly morning promoting health, community involvement, and public safety. Every registration helps support the MPA Charities community outreach efforts and charitable initiatives. **Register by August 26 to guarantee a finisher medal. Register by September 18 to guarantee a t-shirt.**

Routes

5K Route  |  ~3.1 Miles

The race will begin at Travis Willam’s Softball Complex and racers will go:

  • Eastbound on New Market Road
  • Southbound on Belt Line
  • Road
  • Westbound on Cartwright Road
  • Northwest on the Travis Williams Trail via Bruton Soccer Complex
  • End back at Travis Williams Softball complex finish line

Fun Run / Walk Route  |  ~1.8 Miles

The fun run / walk will begin at Travis Willam’s Softball Complex and will go:

  • Eastbound on New Market Road to Belt Line Roa
  • Return westbound on New Market Road to Travis Williams Softball Complex
